How to Install the Cybertection Program on Windows

Follow these step-by-step instructions to download, unzip, and install the Cybertection program on your Windows computer. The program is stored as a zipped .exe file on OneDrive.

Step 1: Download the Zipped File from OneDrive

1. Open your web browser and go to the OneDrive link provided by Cybertection.

2. Sign in to your Microsoft account if prompted.

3. Locate the zipped file (e.g., Cybertection_antivirus.zip) and click on it to select it.

4. Click the "Download" button to save the file to your computer.

5. Choose a location on your computer (e.g., Downloads folder) to save the file.

Step 2: Unzip the Downloaded File

1. Navigate to the folder where the zipped file was downloaded (e.g., Downloads).

2. Right-click on the zipped file (Cybertection_antivirus.zip) and select "Extract All" from the context menu.

3. In the extraction window, choose a destination folder for the unzipped files (e.g., Desktop or a new folder named Cybertection).

4. Click "Extract" to unzip the file.

5. Once the extraction is complete, you’ll see the unzipped files, including the .exe file (e.g., Cybertection_Setup.exe).

Step 3: Install the Cybertection Program

1. Open the folder where the files were extracted.

2. Locate the .exe file (e.g., Cybertection_Setup.exe) and double-click it to start the installation process.

3. If prompted by User Account Control (UAC), click "Yes" to allow the program to make changes to your device.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation wizard:

   • Choose the installation location (or use the default location).

   • Accept the terms and conditions.

   • Select any additional options (e.g., creating a desktop shortcut).

5. Click "Install" to begin the installation.

6. Wait for the installation process to complete.

Step 4: Launch the Cybertection Program

1. Once the installation is complete, you’ll see a confirmation message.

2. Check the box to "Launch Cybertection" if you want to open the program immediately.

3. Alternatively, you can launch the program later by:

   • Clicking the desktop shortcut (if created during installation).

   • Searching for "Cybertection" in the Start menu and clicking on it.

Step 5: Sign In to Your Cybertection Account

1. Open the Cybertection program.

2. Enter your registered email address and password.

3. Click "Sign In" to access your account and start using Cybertection’s services.
